Eisenmann and Saint-Gobain present the roller hearth furnace of the future for press hardened steel

Böblingen/Germany, September 24th 2018 - "Breaking rollers are a thing of the past!" - with this slogan, Eisenmann in cooperation with Saint-Gobain will present at the EuroBLECH in Hannover how to combine traditional furnace design with visionary and leading edge technology.

Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the latest in roller technology for press hardened steel at our booth H174 in Hall 27.

They can see for themselves hands-on how easy it is to remove buildup from rollers that have been used in a real production environment.

"These rollers have been put to the test and exceeded all expectations during a two-year trial in a production plant. Compared to other rollers on the market, they have a three times longer lifetime. During our trial not a single roller broke due to AlSi diffusion", Hans-Ulrich Dorst, Business Development Manager, Engineered Ceramics at Saint-Gobain. The company developed these rollers specifically for the press hardened steel application (PHS).

In addition, Eisenmann will be presenting the latest developments and improvements in roller hearth furnaces for press hardened steel that enable increased productivity and production reliability. From 23 to 26

October, visitors can discuss with Eisenmann specialists about all topics, such as the modular furnace concept, designed to streamline the transportation, construction and assembly process, as well as the brick insulation for reduced wear and tear, and also our casing and door design enabling us to lower media consumption and reach dew points of -20 °C by utilizing dry air only.
