11/04/2021 | 10:50pm EST

JAKARTA (Reuters) - Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves dropped by $1.4 billion in October to $145.5 billion due to payments of overseas public debt, the central bank said in a statement on Friday.

Bank Indonesia said the October reserve level, which was equal to 8.5 months of imports, was sufficient to maintain stability.
