Informa Gains After Raising FY Revenue, Profit Guidance

1005 GMT - Informa shares rise 6% after the FTSE 100-listed business-publishing and exhibition group increased its full-year revenue and profit targets. The trading update makes 2022 forecasts look less risky and sets the scene for a possible further improvement in growth next year, Citigroup says. While the shares don't look overly cheap, they should at least be able to maintain their valuation, or even rise further, as earnings recover to pre-pandemic levels and beyond, Citi says. "We think this will settle nerves," Citi analysts say in a note. "We rate the group as a buy." (philip.waller@wsj.com)
