StoneCo : Offering of 27.4 Million Shares Priced at $47.50 Each

StoneCo Ltd. on Thursday said a public offering of about 27.4 million shares was priced at $47.50 apiece, below Wednesday's closing price of $49.29.

The provider of financial-technology solutions, which had about 179.7 million shares outstanding before the offering, said it will use proceeds from the offering to finance its pending acquisition of Linx S.A.

StoneCo said it granted the underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 4.11 million shares.
