Shanghai, 27 March 2014 - Xiao Nan Guo Restaurants Holdings Limited ("Xiao Nan Guo" or "the Company", SEHK stock code: 3666) is pleased to announced it plans to open a themed restaurant, The Boat House in Shanghai, PRC which is expected to be opened in the fourth quarter of 2015.
The Company has already reached cooperative intent with renowned US catering enterprise Schussler Creative, Inc. to enter into a joint venture to open a themed restaurant named The Boat House. The restaurant emphasizes a full service model and the menu will be adjusted leveraging Xiao Nan Guo's research & development to better cater to the Chinese market.
Schussler Creative, Inc. is a renowned US enterprise specializing in the creation of and consultation on restaurants, retail, attractions and entertainment venues worldwide. The company owns a number of catering brands, and opened the world-famous Rainforest Café themed chain restaurant in Bloomington, Minnesota in 1994. Schussler Creative, Inc. created two themed restaurants at Disneyland in Orlando, Florida, namely T-REXTM and Yak & YetiTM, which are very popular.
Xiao Nan Guo has been achieving breakthroughs in its multi-brand strategy. The Boat House will become another new initiative of the Company to tap the mass market as it seeks to bring in overseas brands and explore Western restaurant operations.
