Ãslandsbanki hf. announced that At the request of Birna Einarsdóttir the Board of Directors and Birna have reached an agreement on the terms of her resignation as CEO of Ãslandsbanki. The Board of Directors of the Bank has appointed Jón Guðni Ómarsson as CEO.
Jón Guðni has been with Ãslandsbanki and its predecessors from the year 2000 and has served as CFO of the Bank since 2011. Jón Guðni will continue as CFO of Ãslandsbanki until a new CFO is appointed.
