The Group improved its 2013 total sales estimate to exceed 55,000 sold cars
Prague, 1 October 2013 - According to the 9M sales results, AAA AUTO Group sold a total of 42,852 used cars in first nine months of 2013, which is 9,9% higher result than the sales for the same period of 2012. The fastest growing region was Russia, with Slovakian sales still very strong. CzechRepublic is growing stronger than expected at the beginning of this year.
In terms of country sales performance, of the 42,852 used cars sold by the Group in 9M 2013, 28,907 cars were sold in the Czech Republic (+7.5% yoy), 12,110 in Slovakia (+14.7 %) and 1,873 (+18.5% yoy) in Russia. The Company was thus growing on all three markets where it operates.
The YOY growth in the Czech Republic in September was 19.0%, while the 3Q YOY growth was even 20.0%. "Our performance on the key Czech Market was outstanding in September and 3Q meant the highest YOY growth in this country since the world economical crisis. September Group results completed our excellent summer season, during which we sold more than 15,000 cars and grew 17.1% YOY. Our growth is in sharp contrast to still very weak new car sales," commented Topolová.
With stronger sales performance, the company improved the total aim for the number of sold cars in the whole of 2013. "Instead of aiming at reach more than 54,000 sold units we now estimate the total sales will exceed 55,000 sold cars, a new post-crisis record," concluded Topolová. According to the CEO, the company success is based on the long-term strategy of buying and selling only best selling cars, after 1-2 owners, up to 5 years old, with clear kilometer history, service book and never smashed.
The majority owner, long time former CEO and founder of AAA AUTO Anthony James Denny said: "The excellent AAA AUTO results prove the last year's decision to promote Karolína Topolová to the position of CEO was a right move. Karolína introduced new innovative approach and an improved system of customer care, which is the main driving force behind AAA AUTO successful growth in sales in all three countries."
Recently, the Group announced its return to Hungary and also plans to introduce a new segment of luxury car sales Mototechna Premium. The company Prague headquarters, including its showroom and the outdoor car display, were newly included in Google Street view feature on Google maps.
