Abans, the authorised distributor for Hugo Boss in Sri Lanka, celebrated the Boss X Meissen global collaboration at the 'Kitchen Takeover' series hosted by the Colombo Supper Club featuring internationally famous chef Benjamin Cross from Mason Bali to mark the historic partnership between the two internationally-renowned German brands Hugo Boss and Meissen. The event was held on 5 December amidst a distinguished gathering of invitees and VIPs.

Founded in 1710, historic porcelain manufacturer Meissen has stood for utmost quality and extraordinary craftsmanship for more than 300 years. Now Hugo Boss and Meissen are coming together for the first time in a groundbreaking new collaboration that unites the two brands' shared passion for quality, design and creativity.

Inspired by Meissen's celebrated Big Five figurines, designed by sculptor Maximilian Hagstotz, the collection features the African lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo, each decorated with a monochrome pattern placed to emphasize the animal's characteristic traits.

The holiday capsule collection includes both casual and formal pieces for men all in a monochrome palette of black and white in embroidered, jacquard and printed form throughout, on cashmere, silk and leather.

In recognition of the collaboration theme, Hugo Boss will make a donation to the charity Elephants for Africa, which works with local and national stakeholders in Botswana to provide education and community outreach focused on conserving this iconic species.

Customers are cordially invited to meet the Big Five up close and personal with ornamental versions of the model animals installed at the Hugo Boss store at Arcade Independence Square 30/1, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 07. Call 0115776196 for more information.
