ADIB wins Best UAE Islamic Bank Award for the fifth year running

Abu Dhabi, 02 March 2014: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a top-tier financial institution, has been awarded Best Islamic Bank in the UAE for the fifth year in a row by EMEA Finance magazine.

EMEA Finance is a leading international financial publication focused on financial developments in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.  It holds the awards annually and publishes the results online as well as in its bi-monthly magazine.

ADIB's Chief Executive Officer, Tirad Al Mahmoud, said the EMEA Finance Magazine award was further acknowledgement by a trusted and respected European financial journal of the bank's continued high performance levels and achievements.

"2013 was a very successful year. ADIB is continually developing new products and services, and as a result we increased our customer base by 80,000 last year. We have been the number one bank for customer service in the UAE now for three years in a row.  I am very pleased that our efforts have been recognized by EMEA Finance, a leading voice in international finance."

Just recently, ADIB has been named the "Best Islamic Bank in the Middle East" and "Best Islamic Bank in the UAE" by Euromoney magazine. The bank has also won 10 prestigious awards at the Islamic Finance News (IFN) Awards Ceremony last month including "Best overall Islamic Bank.
