Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank : ADIB opens 83rd UAE branch in Abu Dhabi’s Al Shamkha Mall

Abu Dhabi, 27 March 2017: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has expanded its branch network with the opening of its 83 UAE branch in Al Shamkha Mall. The branch is the 12 ADIB outlet to be located in east Abu Dhabi and the 6 mall branch in the UAE. It provides customers with full access to a range of ADIB's leading retail and commercial banking services.

While high-quality digital services are becoming an important feature of the banking sector, ADIB research shows that having physical branches in convenient locations with extended operating hours remains a priority for many UAE customers. The bank is therefore committed to making its services accessible through various channels for its growing customer base in the UAE.

In addition to maintaining a strong branch network, ADIB has invested in a number of digital services to give customers a safe, convenient and efficient mobile and online banking experience. Most recently, ADIB partnered with Fidor Bank to launch an 'online based community digital bank' - the first of its kind in the region. New functionality introduced into ADIB's ATMs includes Emirates ID readers and voice-activation, again the first bank in the UAE to do offer this functionality.

ADIB has the third largest retail network in the UAE with a total of 83 branches and more than 780 ATMs. The bank was recently named 'Best Bank in the UAE' by The Banker magazine, and was awarded 'Best Overall Bank in Customer Experience' in the UAE for the sixth year in a row by Ethos Integrated Solutions.
