Re: Notification of the progress of Employee Joint Investment Program (EJIP)
According to the Board of Directors Meeting No.9/2022 of AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Public Company Limited ("the Company" or "AEONTS") held on August 9, 2022, approved the Employee Joint Investment Program which is in accordance with the Notification of the Office of Securities and Exchange Commission ( " the SEC" ) no. Sor Jor 38/2561 dated July 16, 2018 and no. Sor Jor 61/2564 dated November 4, 2021.
As to be complied with Clause 6 ( 6) of the Notification no. Sor Jor. 38/ 2561 of the SEC which was later amended by the Notification Sor Jor. 61/2564 of the SEC, the Board of Directors has issued the letter to the SEC to certify that the EJIP has been complied with Clause 7 Notification no. Sor Jor. 38/ 2561 of the SEC. The Board of Directors has an opinion that EJIP is an investment program on accumulative buying of the Company's shares on a periodic basis, serving as another means of compensating employees of the Company and its subsidiaries in Thailand. The Company will deduct money from payroll of eligible employees who voluntarily join EJIP at the rate of not exceeding 9% of the salary of each participant on a monthly basis and the Company shall contribute the equivalent amount of the employees' contribution, with 3% additional contribution of the base salary of employees ("Basic salary") for Talent Employee, according to conditions set by the Company, as well as for Executive employee of the Company, and put into the fund till the end of contribution period of the EJIP period. Both employees' and the Company's contribution will be invested on purchasing of AEONTS shares in the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) within the Company's specified date in each month by Phillip Securities Public Company Limited, who has been assigned by the Company to execute EJIP.
