Affinity Energy & Health Limited announced that it has executed a Memorandum of Understanding, with The University of Sydney to support its medicinal cannabis research and development activities in Australia. Under the MOU, The University of Sydney will undertake research programs utilizing AEB's considerable and unique bank of Australian Medicinal Cannabis cultivars. The initial focus will be on strategic stress and pain reduction (and management) in commercial livestock and the companion animal sector. It is intended that the successful development of animal targeted products will segue into the human sector. Currently AEB and The University of Sydney are in discussions with peak industry bodies and private enterprise where a collaborative focus in terms of both project funding and research programs is well underway and the Company looks forward to updating shareholders on these discussions in due course. The term of the agreement is for 3 years. Work will commence once Affinity has received its Australian licence and once suitable investment funds are finalized. There are no other material terms.
