Hong Kong Airlines and Air Mauritius entered a codeshare agreement to provide travellers with enhanced connections to Mauritius. Under the codeshare, Hong Kong Airlines will place its 'HX' code on Air Mauritius' twice-weekly direct flights between Hong Kong and Mauritius. Tickets under the codeshare agreement for travel period from September 1, 2015 onwards can be purchased via travel agents or through the airlines' sales offices and call centers.

Hong Kong Airlines codeshares on the following Air Mauritius flights: 1) Route is Hong Kong (HKG) - Mauritius (MRU); Flight No. MK640 /HX1640 and 2) Route is Mauritius (MRU) - Hong Kong (HKG); Flight No. MK641 /HX1641.
