Gebze Ready-Mixed Concrete Facility operating under the Betonsa brandof Akçansa upgraded its "Responsible Sourcing Certificate" to gold level.
The facility is also the first facility in Turkey to be certified by the Concrete Sustainability Council.
Carrying out efforts for the efficient use of resources and thus aiming to raiseawareness in this framework, Akçansa's activities continue to be appreciated.
The Gebze Ready-Mixed Concrete Facility operating under the company's Betonsabrand achieved an important success in this context. The facility upgraded its"Responsible Sourcing Certificate" to gold level.
Regarding the matter, Akçansa General Manager M. Zeki Kanadıkırık said, "AtAkçansa, we continue our activities in line with the principle of working responsibly forthe future with all our brands. Besides being the first facility in Turkey to be certifiedby the Concrete Sustainability Council, our Gebze Ready-Mixed Concrete Facilityhas achieved a significant success by upgrading its silver level "ResponsibleSourcing Certificate" for concrete production and supply chain to the gold level. Theregistration of our efforts by reputable platforms provides us with motivation in ouractivities for a more sustainable future."
