The Contract of Bucharest Southern Beltway Lot 1 Stage is Also Awarded to Alarko

After Lot 2 of Bucharest Southern Beltway Project was assumed by Alarko Contracting Group, a member of Alarko Group of Companies, in Romania, the tender for Lot 1 is also awarded to Alarko Contracting Group again. The signing ceremony for the new stage was held on 26 August in Bucharest with the participation of by Razvan Cuc, Romanian Transportation Minister, Florin Sorin Scalart, General Manager of Romania National Highways and Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR), Vedat Alaton, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Alarko Holding A.Ş, Alper Kaptanoğlu, Alarko Contracting Group General Manager and Mustafa Gafuroğlu, Vice General Manager of Alarko Contracting Group.
During the speech he delivered at the signing ceremony, Vedat Alaton said 'Alarko Group of Companies takes great pride in signing the construction agreements for Lot 1 and Lot 2 stages of Bucharest Southern Beltway Project. As Alarko, we attach priority to delivering this project timely and meeting the highest standards. We aim to continue our collaboration with Romania, which started with the road construction project, with metro and other infrastructure projects. In this connection, Alarko Group of Companies wishes to work here for different projects for long years, and ensure an environment of trust and cooperation where our company can be deemed a local business partner rather than a foreign corporation.' Noting that Alarko hopes to carry out its activities in Romania not only as a contractor, but also as an investor, Alaton concluded his words by saying that they believe that this project will provide significant added value to the Romanian infrastructure network, and thanked the authorities for their trust in Alarko Group of Companies for the construction of both stages of this significant project.
