Subject: Update on the financing of the Kazakhstan BAKAD project
As previously announced on 07.02.2018, the consortium led by our subsidiary Alsim Alarko Sanayi Tesisleri ve Ticaret signed the contract with the Ministry for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan with regards to construction and management of the Big Almaty Ring Road Motorway. In addition, it was announced that the project finance agreement has been signed on 12.02.2020 in Nur-Sultan/Kazakhstan.
All prerequisites with regards to the agreement made within the context of project finance have been fulfilled. Financial closure agreement was signed on 06.08.2020, allowing the project finance ready to be called.
