POWAY, Calif.  - Heading into the four-man sudden-death playoff at the Transitions Championship Sunday, the odds of the winner playing an Aldila shaft was pretty favorable with three of the four players playing Aldila. The winner, who birdied the first playoff hole, was playing Aldila's NV® and the other two players were playing Aldila's DVS™ and RIP®.

With the win, the Transitions Champ captured his 5th PGA Tour victory and regained the top spot in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Aldila (www.aldila.com) also had seven more hybrid shafts in play than the next leading shaft manufacturer. Aldila has won the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts in 12 of 13 PGA Tour events this season.
