May 17, 2023 - Pavel Marynichev was appointed by the Supervisory Board of ALROSA to serve as the organization's CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board for a period of three years. The decision was taken unanimously.

Pavel Marinychev succeeds Sergey Ivanov, who has been serving as CEO of the Company since 2017.

"I appreciate the trust placed in me by the ALROSA Supervisory Board. As CEO, I'll keep working to consolidate the Company's dominant position on the global diamond market. Our strategic objectives remain the same. We will develop our resource base, increase production efficiency and enhance management quality despite the challenging geopolitical environment. As before, special focus will be given to the growth of ALROSA's talent pool as well as to Health and Safety issues and environmental protection. We will unquestionably continue our support of social and environmental projects in the regions of our operations, said Pavel Marinychev.

About Pavel Marinychev

Since 2016, Pavel A. Marynichev has been in charge of Almazy Anabara, a key production asset of ALROSA Group. Prior to this, he served as the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), where he was in charge of the geology, subsoil use, business, housing and utilities, energy, and building for more than six years. Since 2014, he has been a member of the Talent Pool of the President of the Russian Federation (a pool of management personnel under the patronage of the President of the Russian Federation). He's also a member of the Management Personnel Reserve of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Talent Pool to fill key positions at the top of ALROSA.
