Amarillo Gold Corporation is a Canada-based development stage company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties, primarily in Brazil. The Company has two properties in Brazil: Mara Rosa and Lavras do Sul. The Mara Rosa Property is in the municipality of Mara Rosa in the state of Goias, central Brazil. It is approximately 360 kilometers north of Goiania, the state capital. Its development stage Posse Gold Project is on its Mara Rosa Property. Mara Rosa Property consists of exploration tenements covering an area approximately 68,974 hectares, which includes mining concessions (the Posse Gold Project) that cover an area approximately 2,553 hectares. The Lavras do Sul project area covers approximately 220 square kilometers and is in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, approximately 320 kilometers by paved road southwest of the state capital Porto Alegre.
