On July 15, 2021, the Company issued a press release announcing that it declared a special, one-time cash dividend of $2.00 per share of American Financial Group Common Stock. The dividend is payable on August 2, 2021 to holders of record on July 26, 2021. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference in this Item 8.01.
