The award ceremony for "Enterprise for Safety 2020", a national contest organized by two important Italian organizations, Confindustria (General Confederation of Italian Industry) and INAIL (National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work), took place in Milan on December 2, 2021. The aim of the contest is to recognize companies that have a solid commitment to EHS continuous improvement. The contest also aims at highlighting best practices on EHS topics.

Aptar Italia won two awards: the "prize" for having achieved a score larger than 500 points, and a "mention", for a specific project in relation to the continuous improvement of ergonomics, based on a structured approach of evaluation and implementation through the participation of all employees.

Almost 200 Italian companies took part to the contest, and 19 of them reached the final phase. Among them, six companies were rewarded, following a long evaluation process that also included, for the finalists, a visit to the company conducted by an evaluation committee.

The highest national representatives of Confindustria and Inail participated at the award ceremony. On behalf of Aptar Italia, the awards were received by Mauro Granchelli, EHS Leader Aptar Chieti, Nando Cutarella, EHS & Sustainability Director B&H, EMEA, and Valentino D'Ambrosio, Country HR Senior Manager.
