ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited announced that Brian Aranha, currently Executive Vice President Corporate Business Optimization of the ArcelorMittal Group, and Non-Executive Director of ArcelorMittal South Africa, will be retiring as an executive in the ArcelorMittal Group with effect from 31 March 2021. Consequently, Aranha has tendered his resignation as a director of the Company with effect from 31 March 2021. Following the recommendation of the Human Resources, Remunerations and Nominations Committee, the Board has approved the appointment of Bradley Davey as a Non-Executive Director, with effect from 01 April 2021. Davey, Vice President of the ArcelorMittal Group, has been recently appointed to succeed Brian Aranha as Executive Vice President Corporate Business Optimization in the ArcelorMittal Group as from 1 April 2021. In his previous role, he was Chief Executive Officer North America. He has vast experience spanning about thirty years in the steel industry, and has held various senior leadership positions within the ArcelorMittal Group.
