The Company's investment business includes dealing in agricultural commodities as well as industrial, including sugar, rice, molasses, vegetable oils, cotton, polypropylene products and similar other products; purchasing, taking on leasing or otherwise acquiring for the purpose of development and sale of any estate and land, building, easement or other interest in real estate; selling or disposing off the undertakings of the Company or any part thereof for such consideration as the Company may think fit and in particular shares; acquiring and disposing off or to otherwise taking over, undertaking and carrying on, wholly or in part for shares or cash; taking part in the management, and managing and acting as consultant and advisor to the business of other companies on fee and commission; and investing funds of the companies in shares, stocks, bonds, commercial papers, debentures and others.
