AS ONE Corporation announced consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June, 2019. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 15,640 million against JPY 15,382 million for the same period a year ago. Operating income was JPY 1,751 million against JPY 1,803 million for the same period a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 1,830 million against JPY 1,847 million for the same period a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 1,249 million against JPY 1,247 million for the same period a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were JPY 66.83 per share against JPY 66.75 per share for the same period a year ago. Basic earnings per share were JPY 66.91 per share against JPY 66.81 per share for the same period a year ago.
For the quarter ending September, 2019, net sales are expected to be JPY 32,400 million. Operating income is expected to be JPY 3,670 million. Ordinary income is expected to be JPY 3,800 million. Profit attributable to owners of parent is expected to be JPY 6,250 million. Basic earnings per share are expected to be JPY 137.68 per share.
For the year ending March, 2020, net sales are expected to be JPY 71,550 million. Operating income is expected to be JPY 8,850 million. Ordinary income is expected to be JPY 9,120 million. Profit attributable to owners of parent is expected to be JPY 6,250 million. Basic earnings per share are expected to be JPY 334.81 per share.

The research and industrial equipment business is engaged in the wholesale of equipment and apparatus, which is used by researchers and technicians, to scientific equipment dealers. This business is also engaged in the provision of product catalogs to dealers, as well as the import and sale of physics and chemistry equipment. The hospital and nursing care business is engaged in the wholesale of equipment and apparatus, which is used by nursing care-related persons, to medical and nursing care institutions. The other business provides purchasing business proxy service using a web system, and to receive the system usage fee by the final user who participates in the system.
