Asian Terminals, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was PHP 3,908.03 million compared to PHP 2,716.69 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 667.64 million compared to PHP 376.26 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.33 compared to PHP 0.19 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.33 compared to PHP 0.19 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was PHP 9,560.14 million compared to PHP 8,084.87 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 1,805.84 million compared to PHP 1,503.97 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.9 compared to PHP 0.75 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.9 compared to PHP 0.75 a year ago.
Asian Terminals, Inc. is a Philippines-based company that provides general services with respect to the operation and management of port terminals. The Company operates and manages the South Harbor Port of Manila and the Port of Batangas in Batangas City. The container terminal division handles stevedoring, arrastre, warehousing, storage, cranage, container freight station and other port-related services for international cargoes. Its inland clearance depot and empty container depot (Laguna) is a customs bonded facility that provides storage, trucking, just-in-time delivery, brokerage and maintenance and repair services for its clients. The Company, through its subsidiary, ATI Batangas, Inc., is the sole cargo handling contractor operating at the Port of Batangas. It operates and manages the Batangas Supply Base within the Port of Batangas under a contract with Shell Philippines Exploration B.V. The Company is developing a barge terminal in Tanza, Cavite, to cater to PEZA cargoes.
