ASM International is down 1% in Amsterdam, following the announcement by the semiconductor equipment supplier that its CEO Benjamin Loh has decided to step down at the Annual General Meeting on May 13.

He will then be replaced by Hichem M'Saad, currently a member of the Board of Management and CTO of the Dutch group. To ensure a smooth transition, Benjamin Loh will remain an advisor for the three months following his retirement as CEO.
