London, 10 May, 2017 - THE MARKETING GROUP PLC (TMG) today announced the merger of two of its New Zealand based subsidiaries, Marker Metro and Marker Ltd (Marker Studio). The two companies will move forward under the Marker Studio brand.

Marker Metro makes world-class apps and chart-topping games for all major mobile, console and TV platforms and clients include Disney, Microsoft, Marvel, Sony and Lucas Film. Combining with Marker Studio's digital product development services, the new entity gives new and existing clients access to a full service digital offering.

As part of the merger Keith Patton, CEO of Marker Metro, a signatory of the recently announced Orderly Market Agreement, will be leaving the newly merged business.

Speaking on the merger, Marker Studio's CEO, Jon Beattie, now CEO of the newly merged business, said:
