Attijariwafa bank introduces microinsurance through
its new range « Amane »
Casablanca, December 9, 2020 - Attijariwafa bank announces the launch of its new inclusive insurance offer «AMANE» by Taamine Iktissadi, guaranteed by Wafa Assurance. This range is part of the National Strategy of Financial Inclusion, which aims at enabling all Moroccans, young and old, and low-income populations, to access banking and financial services under simple and accessible conditions.
As a pioneer of financial inclusion in Morocco and a major player in bancassurance in Morocco and Africa, the Group continues to foster the democratization of banking and financial services, particularly through the launch of this new microinsurance offer for individuals, professionals and VSEs.
Launched as part of the Taamine Iktissadi concept, the new AMANE range aims to protect both descendants and ascendants in the event of the insured's death or to guarantee a daily indemnity following the insured's hospitalization.
The range includes:
Funeral insurance to cover burial expenses
Life insurance payable to a parent
Life insurance payable to a child
Hospital Insurance

The AMANE range features several innovations and marks a major shift away from the characteristics of traditional insurance, particularly in three major areas:
An accessible tariff to all, from MAD 99 per year (all taxes included), regardless of the age of the subscriber or their health condition;
A Subscription without conditions or formalities for all products;
An instantaneous and fast Compensation.
With the launching of the AMANE range, the Attijariwafa bank group promotes the emergence of the inclusive insurance in Morocco and consolidates its positioning to take up the challenge of financial inclusion.
