Australis Oil & Gas Limited : - request for trading halt

Australis Oil & Gas Limited (ASX: ATS) (the Company) requests that ASX Limited grant an immediate trading halt with respect to its ordinary shares.

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, the Company provides the following information: The Company requests the trading halt in relation to a proposed capital raising.

The Company requests that the trading halt remain in place until the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 1 March 2021, unless before that time the Company requests that the trading halt be lifted.

The Company expects that the release of the announcement regarding the proposed capital raising will be the event that lifts the halt.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
