Autins Group plc announced that following a comprehensive formal search process, Gareth Kaminski-Cook has been appointed as Chief Executive. He will be joining the company from Low & Bonar plc, where he was Group Director of Strategy, Sales and Marketing and Global Business Director, Interiors and Transportation. He will join the board of the company as Chief Executive effective no later than 13 January 2019. He has 25 years' experience in market-leading industrial organizations across several business sectors, having worked previously for Saint Gobain, Rexam, BPB and Danaher. He has lived and worked in Asia, the US and Europe, and has a deep understanding of the manufacture and application of specialist acoustic and thermal materials across relevant industrial markets such as Automotive and Building Products. The board has also agreed that Michael Jennings will leave the company on 31 August 2018 and, to ensure the continued smooth transition to new leadership, will appoint Ian Griffiths as interim Chief Executive. Ian, a Non-Executive member of the board since the IPO in August 2016, has strong experience in the sector having spent nearly 30 years with GKN plc and is an experienced public company executive.
