AVRA Medical Robotics, Inc. announced changes in Directors and Executive Officers. Effective March 1, 2020: Peter Carnegie resigned as a director of the Company; Alen Sands York was appointed as a director of the Company; Arthur Tomassetti was appointed as a director of the Company executive; and Nikhil Shah, D.O., resigned as Company's Chief Strategy Officer and was instead appointed as Senior Strategy Advisor. Mr. Alen Sands York has over sixty years of entrepreneurial and international business experience. From managing a third-generation family home textile company in the USA and Germany to diverse ventures in advertising, public relations, international marketing, automotive and marine industries, industrial design, motion pictures, restaurants, wine and spirits. He is multilingual, an artist, published author and poet. Mr. Ettore Tomassetti has over fifty-five years of experience in Electromechanical Design and Fabrication, Food Processing, Building Sciences and Customer Service. After several years of Military Service, he went on to managing/directing a variety of service and manufacturing companies.
SS Innovations International, Inc. is a developer of surgical robotic technologies. The Company is developing a fully autonomous medical robotic system using software, which integrates artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning, or machine learning (DL). Its product range includes its SSI Mantra surgical robotic system, and SSI Mudra is its range of surgical instruments capable of supporting a variety of surgical procedures, including robotic cardiac surgery. Its instruments under development include NADI-Automated Coronary Anastomotic Connector, SSi Multi-Fire Clip Applier, SSi Ultrasonic Surgical Device, SSi Maya-XR Pre-Operative Simulator, SSi Holographic Anatomy, SSi Yog-Tele Proctor, SSi Chitrasa-Advanced DICOM Viewer and SSi Mixed Reality Headset. The SSi Mantra is comprised of vision cart, which provides an additional 32-inch 3D 4K resolution monitor, identical to the surgeonâs console, for the operating room staff.
