The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of petroleum and natural gas properties in South America, with its initial focus on Argentina and Colombia. The Company has interests in over three properties in Argentina, which include El Corte, Covunco Norte-Sur and Loma El Divisadero. The Company's El Corte property is an exploration permit of approximately 41,000 acres in the Neuquen Basin in the province of Neuquen. The Company's Covunco Norte-Sur property is an exploration risk permit of approximately 83,000 acres in the Neuquen Basin in the province of Neuquen. The Company's Loma El Divisadero property is an exploitation concession of approximately 42,000 acres in the Neuquen Basin in the province of Mendoza. The Company is focusing its resources on developing the Vaca Muerta properties.
