"Euro Medium Term Note Programme" update for a total amount of euro 5 billion by Banca Popolare di Sondrio and J.P.Morgan and Societe Generale as arrangers

The update of "Euro Medium Term Note" (EMTN) Programme of Banca Popolare di Sondrio has been completed on March 6TH in London. The bank, through such Programme, shall be entitled to issue "Senior Notes", "Non-Preferred Senior Notes" and "Subordinated Notes" which may be subscribed by institutional investors, up to a maximum amount of 5 billion.

The EMTN Programme's Arrangers are J.P. Morgan and Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking. The Dealers, in addition to J.P. Morgan, Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking and Banca Popolare di Sondrio, are: Banca Akros S.P.A - Gruppo Banco BPM, Banca IMI, Barclays, Natixis and UniCredit Bank.

With reference to the legal aspects of the transaction, Banca Popolare di Sondrio has been assisted by Chiomenti, while the Arrangers and Dealers have been assisted by Allen & Overy.
