Bangkok Bank approves credit line of Baht 2 billion to support 'Vanachai Panel' to build new particle board factory in Surat Thani

Bangkok Bank Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Piti Sithi-Amnuai (2nd from right) presided over a signing ceremony between Bangkok Bank, represented by Senior Executive Vice President Chansak Fuangfu (right) and Vanachai Panel Industries, or VPI, represented by Managing Director Wanthana Jaroennawarat (2nd from left) and Executive Director Somprasong Sahavat (left). The signing ceremony was for Baht 2 billion in funding to enable the company to construct a new particle board factory in Surat Thani province (PB-3 Project) with production capacity of 450,000 cubic meters a year to meet demand in East Asia and ASEAN. The company aims to complete the construction and start commercial production within Q2/2019. The investment will enable VPI to double its annual particle board production capacity from 450,000 cubic meters to 900,000 cubic meters a year. VPI is a subsidiary of Vanachai Group (VNG) and a leader in production and selling environmentally-friendly panel boards.
