The Company strongly determines to promote environmental management in gearing toward a low carbon society as well as adheres to becoming a leader in healthcare service provider for the well-being of all people under the sustainability concept."

Committed to Sustainability Principle

Over our 50 years of business operations, BDMS has emphasized the mission and aspiration in delivering good health to the society and community in a sustainable manner, coupled with complete health services which provide patient treatment at the international standards, together with advanced medical technology. As a result of our commitment to sustainability culture in every business activity of the organization, BDMS was selected to rank 1st in Health Care Providers & Services of Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) in which BDMS is the first medical and healthcare business organization in Thailand and Asia to become a member of the World Index for the first time and in the Emerging Markets Index for 3th consecutive years. Besides, the Company has passed the evaluation criteria of SET ESG Rating at AA level in Market Cap: SET 1 (>10,000 million baht) for 4th consecutive years.

Deliver Value to the Society

BDMS constantly develops medical innovation and implements the plan in becoming the genius hospital and a leader in complete healthcare service provider. Thus, the Company has taken into consideration the changing expectations of the customers over time and acted in line with sustainable development of healthcare business. Examples of such innovations include Direct Anterior Approach Hip Replacement or DAA, the medical innovation which delivers health benefits to Thai citizens, helps minimize the recovery period, enables speedy recovery while significantly reducing pain. This in turn, results in higher satisfaction rate of patients and relatives, rendering BDMS with the Best Innovative Company, Business Excellent sector at the SET Awards 2023 and the Best Investor Relation Awards from the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

Gear toward Net Zero

BDMS strives to become the ESG leader in the medical services sector. In the area of environment, BDMS announced the determination since 2022 to proceed with such determination in a concrete manner of net zero emission by 2050. To achieve this end, BDMS introduced BDMS Green Healthcare Project to manage environmental issues and promote every stakeholder group to minimize the greenhouse gas emission from business operation. Moreover, the company consistently encourages the use of renewable energy with the objective to become a net zero organization through the evaluation criteria of environmental-friendly operation of the BDMS Hospital Group and subsidiaries. This BDMS project of "Green Healthcare" has been conducted for 2nd consecutive years.

Promote Equality, Minimize Discrimination

As for society, BDMS recognizes the significance of human capital management as well as foster Employee well-being and respect of human rights in a comprehensive manner throughout the supply chain. Moreover, BDMS has applied the knowledge of the organization in organizing various projects such as "BDMS Life-Saving Project", the project which provides training to all stakeholders throughout the entire country. In addition, the "Im Boon" project in collaboration with Vejdusit Foundation consistently promotes health services accessibility while providing opportunity for education. Additional projects include "Knee Replacement for the Underprivileged" and "Vejdusit, Plant a seed and Build a Nurse" (Nurse Scholarship) etc.

Adhere to Governance Principle with the Determination of Medical Professionals

In terms of governance, BDMS strongly values good corporate governance and management, transparent and verifiable operations. Consequently, BDMS was chosen as the company with good corporate governance at an excellent level from Thai Institute of Directors. BDMS is committed to operating the business following the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth by the United Nations of which the results can be concretely assessed in line with the international standards.

Lastly, I would like to extend our appreciation to all doctors, dentists and employees for their continued devotion and collaboration for the organization during the past year. All of us in this organization is a crucial part in providing healthcare to the patients and their relatives, resulting in the company's sustainable growth and development. I believe that all employees will continue to make good deeds and achieve our aspiration.

BDMS was selected in SET ESG Ratings 2023 in the service category for 4th consecutive years and received "AA" level in SET ESG Ratings 2023 in the service category from the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited was selected as the Company with Corporate Governance(5-star)with the excellent level from Thai Institute of Directors.

BDMS was granted 3 IAA awards: Awards for Listed Companies 2022-2023in the service category, held by the Investment Analysists Association (IAA). These awards consist of the "Outstanding CEO", "Best CEO" and "Best Investor Relations" awards.

MSCI Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited received the 2023 MSCI ESG Rating at the "AA" level.

BDMS received 2 awards in Business Excellence from SET awards 2023 in Best Innovative Company Awards and Best Investor Relations Awards.

BDMS was awarded "Thailand's Best CEO" and "Special Award in Leadership in Organizational Engagement 2023" from Kincentric, the world's leading company in human resources management, in collaboration with Sasin School of Management, Chulalongkorn University.

Bangkok Hospital Headquarter has been certified with ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 27799 (Evaluation of IT security management system and patient information standards) by the British Standards Institution incorporated by Royal Charter.

Bangkok Hospital Headquarter received the excellent award for the organization fostering energy conservation in controlled building category, hospital group, from the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency.

The Samitivej Hospital Group was granted 2 awards, the "GlobalHealth Asia-PacificAwards 2023"; namely, Thailand's excellent hospital award and the "Excellent Service Provider of Genomic Medicine and Lifestyle in Asia-Pacific".

Bangkok Hospital Headquarter has been certified with the standards of occupational health and environmental management with the excellent level, for private hospitals from the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health.

Bangkok Hospital Headquarter was awarded the "Asianparent Thailand's Awards 2023" in the Most Proudly Local category; namely, "Best Hospital for Comprehensive Maternal and Child Health Care Thailand", the trusted hospital for complete health care of mothers and children.

Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital was awarded "Clinic Service Initiative of the Year - Thailand" under the topic of "Samitivej Pre-Team Prevention Program by Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital" from Health Care Asia Award 2023 in Singapore.
