Citi Handlowy has introduced further novelties to its bank and bike app, which wins the hearts of more and more Warsaw cyclists with each passing week. At the same time, the bank prepared a contest for the fans of bikes on Facebook and Twitter. There are 50 vouchers of PLN 20 to win and use in the Citi Handlowy Bikes application. All one needs to do is find a unique blue bike of Citi Handlowy Bike.
Citi Handlowy launched the first version of the application only a month ago, and now the number of users already exceeds 6,000. The bank has no intention of slowing down and introduces more novelties. The Citi Handlowy Bike app has just been extended with:
a possibility to rent a bike with a QR code
automatic push notifications confirming a successful bike rental and return, and sound notifications received 5 minutes before the lapse of each free 20-minute rental period.
recording the travel route and a possibility to publish it on Facebook
recording the distance covered on bike, ride cost and calories burnt
a possibility to collect badges for completed challenges set in the application and to share one's achievements on Facebook.
Improved application interface and an option to personalize it
Functional search engine and a map of bike stations in Warsaw
Dedicated Contact Center to report any problems connected to the application or the Veturilo system in a quick and convenient way.
In the new version of the application, Warsaw cyclists will find many unique functions that will make the use of bikes effective and fun. This is the element of fun we focused on when launching the competition. The task is simple and it appeals to the inclination of cyclists to become a detective. It is enough to take a photo of one of 50 Warsaw bikes under the colors of Citi Handlowy, and then post it on Facebook or Twitter with a special hashtag: #CitiHandlowyBikes and #NiebieskiRower, explains Miguel Mendes, Head of the Consumer Bank Customer Experience Management Department.
In the competition, a total of 50 vouchers of PLN 20 await winners; they can be used for renting bikes via the Citi Handlowy Bike application. The competition is divided into 4 stages and will last until September 4, 2017. The results of particular stages together with a list of laureates will be announced on the Facebook fanpage of Citi Handlowy. The terms and conditions of the competition are available on FB. In order to use a voucher, one needs to download the Citi Handlowy Bikes app from App Store or Google Play, register and activate the account, and pay an initial fee of at least PLN 10. The operator of the application is the Polish company Nextbike Polska.
More information can be found on the website of Citi Handlowy Bikes.
The presence of Citi Handlowy on the city bikes is a strategic project of the bank, which is consistently developed. Some time ago, the bank opened five sponsored stations under the colors of Citi Handlowy in strategic locations in the capital, as well as started a new version of the advertising campaign presented on bikes' wings. At the moment, 80 percent of Warsaw cyclists use bikes with the advertisement of Citi Handlowy.
