Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate, has partnered with Landmark Group and Visa to launch the Bank Muscat Shukran co-branded Visa Prepaid Card. The Bank Muscat Shukran Visa Prepaid card is a contactless payment method in the form of a reloadable card designed for everyday use. The prepaid card is linked to the cardholder's Shukran membership for accrual and redemption of Shukran points in stores and online.

Customers will earn 1 Shukran Point for every OMR 1 spent at Landmark Stores and 1 Shukran Point for every OMR 2 spent outside Landmark Group chain of stores. The total points accumulated through the prepaid card spends is added to the Shukran points gained from their Shukran membership. Points can be redeemed across Landmark Group stores in Oman, the GCC, Egypt and online on more than 15 brands across Fashion, Home, Electronics, Hospitality and Leisure, at Landmark Group stores such as Centrepoint, Babyshop, Splash, SHOEMART, Lifestyle, Max, Shoexpress, Home Centre, Home Box and Emax.

Application and management of the prepaid card is made simple and convenient through the Bank Muscat Mobile Banking app and Internet Banking services. Customers can also link the card to their existing Shukran membership. For customers who do not have an existing Shukran membership, it will be autogenerated within the card application. Customers can use the online services to top up the card, view available balance, view transaction history and block the card if it is lost or stolen.
