Battery Age Minerals Ltd. announced that Mr. Nigel Broomham, the Company's General Manager of Exploration, has been appointed Interim CEO effective immediately, following the resignation of Mr. Gerard O'Donovan as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. O'Donovan will step down from the Board immediately and will work with the interim CEO to facilitate a smooth transition. Nigel is a geologist with over 12 years industry experience, including over 10 years in the battery metals sector, specifically in lithium.

As BM8's General Manager of Exploration, Nigel has been instrumental in the successful planning, development, management and exploration works across all of Battery Age Minerals assets to date. Prior to joining Battery Age, Nigel held leadership roles with ASX-50 lithium producer Pilbara Minerals in exploration, resource development and mining production. As Head of Geology at Pilgangoora, he was extensively involved in the exploration and development of the world-class Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia and was tasked with leading the geology team from exploration through to production.

Mr. Broomham has also held several other leadership roles at Pilgangoora, including Mining Manager, lead of the Direct Shipping Ore development project and Production Superintendent. Earlier in his career, he has also worked at Mineral Resources Limited, Consolidated Minerals Manganese, Hancock Prospecting (Roy Hill) and Golder Associates, and is also a non-executive director of Pioneer Lithium Limited. Nigel holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons), Geology and Resource Economics from the University of Western Australia and is a member of AusIMM and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
