BGF Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 25,895.39 million compared to KRW 26,140.8 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 23,493.52 million compared to KRW 15,868.6 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 245 compared to KRW 163 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 245 compared to KRW 166 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 80,676.36 million compared to KRW 51,947.92 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 64,559.86 million compared to KRW 32,481.06 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 675 compared to KRW 424 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 675 compared to KRW 339 a year ago.
BGF Co Ltd, formerly BGF Retail Co Ltd, is a Korea-based holding company mainly engaged in the investment business. The Company operates its business through four segments. The Investment Business segmentâs main revenues are brand usage revenue from users of the BGF brand, management support service revenue through business services, and dividend revenue and rental revenue received from subsidiaries. The Golf Course Business segment engages in the operation of golf courses. The Advertisement and Delivery Business segment engages in digital signage advertisement business, business messaging business, mobile gift certificate business and cash receipt business, and provides convenience store delivery service. The Other Business segment engages in online food sales business, worker dispatch and commissioned operation business, eco-friendly product manufacturing and processing sales business, and other plastic product manufacturing business.
