Blackstone Resources : appoints new CFO

BAAR, Switzerland 03/24/2022 Blackstone Resources AG (SWX; symbol BLS, ISIN CH0460027110) announces that the current Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mr. Christoph von Aesch will leave the company as of April 30, 2022. "On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I would like to thank Christoph von Aesch for his work and commitment. I also personally wish him all the best for his future path in life," says CEO Ulrich Ernst. He had led the management of accounting and financial reporting over the past year in close consultation with company founder Ulrich Ernst. On July 1, 2022, Mr. Lorenz Bertschmann will take up his position as the new CFO, until then our long-standing COO, Mr. Michael Hingst will be responsible for this area on an interim basis. This will ensure the continuity we have enjoyed to date.

Lorenz Matthias Bertschmann is an experienced and authentic leader with strong financial skills and extensive expertise. He has many years of knowledge and expert skills in the management of the various systems of accounting, financial reporting, financing and in strategic and operational financial planning. At Stiftung Drei Tannen, he was in charge of human resources and finance as CFO, and in his own company, Bertschmann Business Partnering, he served as finance and project manager. In the past, he had already worked in various finance positions in a management capacity for Atros AG, CSC Switzerland GmbH, Cablecom GmbH and Siemens AG.

Blackstone Resources AG further announces that the previous auditor for the company has announced its resignation. "We regret this step and are already in contact with the largest Swiss auditing firms for a cooperation", explains CEO Ulrich Ernst. In order to properly elect the new auditing company, we will convene an extraordinary general meeting at short notice."
