NEW YORK (AP) _ Blue Apron Holdings Inc. (APRN) on Tuesday reported a second-quarter loss of $18.6 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had a loss of 98 cents. Losses, adjusted to extinguish debt, were 76 cents per share.

The meal-kit seller posted revenue of $124 million in the period.

The company's shares closed at $4.41. A year ago, they were trading at $11.97.
