Boralex announces the appointment of Patrick Simon as Deputy

Managing Director Boralex Development, Europe

Paris, France, October 10, 2022-Boralex Inc. ("Boralex" or the "Company") (TSX: BLX) announces the appointment of Patrick Simon as Deputy Managing Director Boralex Development, Europe, effective immediately.

Patrick joins the Europe Executive Committee as head of development for Boralex, a pioneer in renewable energy and the largest independent producer of onshore wind energy in France.

Boasting 30 years of experience, including 15 in management roles, Patrick Simon has a solid track record in the energy field. Patrick worked at EDP Renewables since 2017, a subsidiary of the Portuguese EDP group in charge of French and Belgian operations. Patrick also worked for the management teams of RES France and EDF in France and Brazil. Patrick Simon is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole des Mines de Paris.
