Bosun Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the half year ended June 30, 2021. For the half year, the company announced sales was CNY 803.037 million compared to CNY 535.389 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 124.753 million compared to CNY 56.671 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 105.243 million compared to CNY 49.663 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.2 compared to CNY 0.11 a year ago.
BOSUN Co., Ltd., formerly BOSUN TOOLS CO., LTD., is principally engaged in the production and sales of diamond tools, electric power tools and alloy tools. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Diamond Tools segment mainly includes diamond circular saw blades, diamond engineering thin wall drills, diamond grinding plates, diamond cutters, tile processing tools and others. The Electric Power Tools segment primarily includes angle grinders, grinding machines, rotary hammers, engineering drills, saw machine and others. The Alloy Tools segment mainly includes hard alloy circular saw blades and carbide cutters. The Company is also engaged in the research and development, manufacture and sales of coated abrasive products. Its coated abrasive products mainly include sandpaper and sandcloth. It is also engaged in rail transit equipment parts business. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
