BioteQ Environmental Technologies Inc. announced a number of Board and Management changes. David Kratochvil, previously its President and Chief Technology Officer, will rejoin the company in the capacity of Interim Chief Executive Officer commencing March 1, 2014. For personal reasons, George Poling will step down from his capacity as Board Chair, although he will remain on the company's Board.

Peter Gleeson will step up from his previous role as a non-executive member of the Board and will assume an executive management role as Executive Chairman. Given David's return to the company and the decision to create the role of Executive Chair, the current Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Wilkinson, will step down from his positions as CEO and Board member. Jonathan will remain with the company in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer until February 28, 2014 to enable a managed, orderly and effective transition.

The changes being announced are part of a plan that will include renewed emphasis on the development and provision of innovative technical solutions for the mining sector. The plan will also focus on reductions in the company's cost structure where feasible.
