Brambles announces appointment of Joaquin Gil as Chief Financial Officer of Brambles

Sydney, 30 August 2023: Brambles Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Joaquin Gil as Brambles' next Chief Financial Officer (CFO) following a comprehensive candidate selection process. His appointment follows Brambles' announcement on 24 February 2023 that the incumbent CFO,

Nessa O'Sullivan, had decided to retire.

Mr. Gil joined Brambles in 2019 as CFO of CHEP Europe and held the role of Group Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis before being appointed Deputy CFO of Brambles in June 2023. Prior to joining Brambles, he held senior finance and management roles with Coca-Cola Amatil and Keurig Green Mountain, and has worked in Australia, Indonesia, Mexico, and the UK. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canberra and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia and New Zealand.

Mr. Gil will assume the role of CFO and join Brambles' Executive Leadership Team on 13 October 2023.

Nessa O'Sullivan will retire as a Brambles' director at the conclusion of the 2023 AGM and to ensure a smooth transition, she will remain with Brambles in an advisory capacity until 31 January 2024.

His wide-ranging experience and deep relationships across the business makes him the ideal candidate for this strategic leadership role as we continue to transform our business for future success."

Brambles' Chair, John Mullen added: "I would also like to extend my thanks to Nessa again for her significant contributions over the years and for her continued focus and energy to the role since announcing her retirement."
