The site, for which the firm has earmarked an investment of about 40 million euros ($43.41 million), will produce brake systems for local two-wheeler makers in the industrial district of the Rayong province, Brembo said in a statement.

It will be operational by the first quarter of 2025 and will employ about 150 people, the group added.

The investment will come on top of the 500 million euros, over three to four years, which the group announced in May in its business plan and aimed at increasing capacity in Mexico, China and Poland.

It adds to those made in past years in the two-wheeler market, which Brembo said is worth around 13% of its total revenues.
