Brother Industries, Ltd. Announces Appointment of Independent Advisory Committee

Brother Industries, Ltd. renewed the 'The Policy Toward Large-scale Purchases of Brother Shares' (Policy) in accordance with a resolution made at the Board of Directors Meeting held on June 23, 2015, after the renewal of the Policy was approved at the 123th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on the same day. Relating to the Policy, Brother established the Independent Advisory Committee. Brother announced that the Board of Directors Meeting held on June 23, 2017 resolved to appoint the following three persons (reappointed) as Independent Advisory Committee Members. The board appointed Kazunari Uchida, Akira Yamada and Hideaki Iwatani to the Independent Advisory Committee of the company.
