Buwog : MARINA TOWER wins the "European Property Award" in London

The 'European Property Award' was presented in London on 25 October 2018. Among the prizewinners: the MARINA TOWER. The BUWOG Group and IES Immobilien's joint project was persuasive in the categories 'Residential High-rise Development Austria' and 'Residential Development Austria' and awarded during the gala night.

The submission was judged by an international jury comprising real estate experts, architects and journalists, which presents the award annually in cooperation with the journal 'International Property & Travel' and evaluates criteria such as fixtures and fittings, location, architecture, sustainability and innovation, and the project's accompanying marketing activities. 'It is a major honour and fills me with pride to be able to accept such a prestigious and international award for the MARINA TOWER,' says a delighted Andreas Holler, managing director of MARINA TOWER Holding GmbH.

It is already the second award for the MARINA TOWER (planning: Zechner & Zechner) within a few weeks: the project was only recently awarded the sustainability certificate in gold by the Austrian Sustainable Building Council (ÖGNI). 'With the MARINA TOWER, we are making an important contribution to urban development, and in the future it will not only be a home for its residents, but will also provide added value for society through the planned extension over the right bank of the Danube,' adds David Hofmann, managing director of MARINA TOWER Holding GmbH.

The 500-unit residential tower is currently under construction on the Vienna Handelskai.
