Byggmax Group AB (publ) reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was SEK 2,546 million compared to SEK 2,833 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 2,553 million compared to SEK 2,834 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 182 million compared to SEK 348 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 3.11 compared to SEK 5.7 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 3.1 compared to SEK 5.68 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was SEK 3,817 million compared to SEK 3,944 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 3,835 million compared to SEK 3,953 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 159 million compared to SEK 337 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 2.72 compared to SEK 5.53 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 2.71 compared to SEK 5.5 a year ago.

The Company is engaged in the discount retail of construction materials in the Nordic do-it-yourself (DIY) market.
