IRVINE, Calif. (AP) _ CalAmp Corp. (CAMP) on Tuesday reported a loss of $11.4 million in its fiscal third quarter.

The Irvine, California-based company said it had a loss of 33 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, were 8 cents per share.

The wireless communications company posted revenue of $68.8 million in the period.

CalAmp shares have decreased slightly since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $9.89, a rise of slightly more than 7% in the last 12 months.
